Teriyaki Donut's route
After a few attempts, Emmett and I finally became the first team other than a solo guy on a bike to get all checkpoints and return on time.
Dave Enger did the same, and faster, so we weren't first overall.
I was torn when planning between the ideas of crossing the Ballard Locks early and climbing Phinney Ridge from the east. I ended up doing the latter, then realized after crossing the Ballard Bridge that there was little chance we could get a Burley through the locks at 12:30 pm on a sunny Saturday. So we modified the route, and crossed back on the Ballard Bridge.
Had I realized this earlier, I would have saved the downtown checkpoints until after we recrossed the bridge. But I didn't so we ended up covering a lot of ground twice.
