Whidbey Island Nerds' route

The weather was perfect and we had a good time! We covered 16.95 miles which is a record for us. Yet we ended up with our second lowest point total, 610 points (I actually calculated 620pts so it looks like we may have forgot to circle a 10-pointer). Only at Northshore, March '05 did we score fewer points at a Scramble so this was definitely a low point event. I think all the dead ends and out and back checkpoints contributed to this. I think we made a good decision to do the SW section of the map as it contained more points than the SE.

It was also only the 2nd time we won the foot division overall, but that seems to be mostly due to low attendance. I guess everyone else had Labor Day weekend plans.
