Attention: Jingle Bell Run Also on December 9th

I just noticed that the Jingle Bell Run also takes place on December 9th. The starting time for the JBR is around 9:00AM. The run starts at Westlake, goes south on 5th to Columbia where it appears to turn onto the I5 Express Lanes heading northbound, where it exits near Pine and heads north before looping back to the start area.

You may want to be aware of this as the route could interrupt you on your way to the Market Street Scramble.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, everyone should allow extra time to arrive on Sunday. Taking the bus is probably the best way to avoid hassle. Even on the bus, allow time for re-routes and delays.

When Street Scramble starts at 10:00 a.m., some people will still be finishing the Jingle Bell Run, creating a little extra crowd-dodging fun near a couple of the checkpoints! If you don't like crowds, there is always the option of saving those checkpoints for the latter portion of your route.
