Boardwalk 5K on UW Campus Sunday Morning

2008 U-District Street Scramble
Be advised that the Boardwalk 5K run takes place on the UW campus the same morning as the U-District Street Scramble. Registration opens at 8:30, run scheduled for 10:00. The race route crosses the Burke-Gilman trail and virtually cuts the UW upper campus in half.
This is a big Seattle schools fund raiser. Consequently, many people who never participate in 5Ks and are not trail-savvy or bike-accustomed will be milling about in the area before, during, and after. I would strongly advise that scramblers give them plenty of room in the 10-11am window.
