Stats: 790 pts, 2:55, 15.1 miles, 52.3 pts/mi

Compared to previous Street Scrambles, the "core" 28 of 32 CPs were close together yielding a very high 52.3 pts/mi (most events are closer to 45 pts/mi). However, the "outer" 4 CPs were way out there which explains why nobody cleared the course. We ended up tying our highest ever point total of 790, getting 27 of the 28 core CPs. We were hoping to get #37 but just didn't quite have enough time as we finished 5 min. early and we would have needed another 10-15 min.

We made our biggest mistakes on #44 (didn't see right away that the figure in the mural was an artist) and on #12, we couldn't figure out which set of stairs to measure from and the sign was just around the corner from where we were looking. We found #34 without too much trouble but I think it was one of the trickier CPs we have had and we led a few teams to it who were milling around the area. On #35, we weren't sure if we should also count the 2nd set of stairs up the hill but we correctly decided not to. I agree with Greg that #41 should have had the entrances marked but I've been there enough times you would think I would remember by now that there is no access along the north wall (on 50th) until you get to the corner. We saw REACH Hi-Lighters at #31. They were doing almost the identical route to us but in the reverse direction. From #57 to #31, we took the new path through the woods that led to the road to the north which allowed us to take an almost straight line path to #31, including an unmapped stairway up the steep hill. This path didn't exist in the 90s when I lived one block from #31 so it was exciting for me to find it there.
