2009 Street Scramble at Family Fourth Celebration
We raced for the third time as team Institute for Systems Biology, doing 90 minutes on foot. Our first Street Scramble together, we covered 10 km. Our second, we covered 12. Today we covered 11.3. Makes sense given the heat. We carried over 1.5 liters Vitalyte on the course and drank almost all of it; this certainly helped.
We did exactly the route we had planned, with a few small mis-steps, and returned about 40 seconds late.

Stayed for the fireworks. Thus, now, at half past midnight, too tired to write a more detailed report. We had a lot of fun, though, as always.
