Chris MacGregor's route
First scramble I've done in a couple of years. Boy, it was hot, and between poor management of water consumption (leading to cramps) and getting a lot of sweat+sunscreen in my eyes (ouch) I wound up walking as much as I ran, I think.
I pretty much stuck to the route I planned, including some of the checkpoints I noted as "optional" and skipping some others...except that I had planned it for 90 minutes, and 30 minutes in it was clear that I needed the full 3 hours, and not clear that I'd make it even then! But in the end, I did.
Here's my route - a little longer than it needed to be due to a couple of navigational errors. (That "39" down there on 37th does *not* mean "39th"! oops.)

Since Nikolay beat my score by almost 40%, I was very glad I didn't kill myself to try to pick up another 10 or 20 points on the last mile. Phew. I'm glad I included the ones I did, and skipped the ones I skipped - I would have thrown a few more in if my time and stamina hadn't run out, but basically I'm happy with my plan and I'd do it just about the same way if I had it to do over again (except with a hat instead of sunscreen and better water planning).
Thanks, everyone, for putting on the event and participating! It was fun.
Chris
